The objective is to give you some "tools, ideas, confidence etc" in a something that interests you and you may choose to use in your classroom.
We will be ably led by our "Champions". Champions, if you have a skill, idea for a workshop you would like to add, please add to the wiki. If you need time to prepare something, see me (I want to give you time!, see me sooner rather than latter.

Outline of process (on the wiki) http://rbscsupport4ict.wikispaces.com/03.Action4Learning

1.'Champions' please have a look at the workshops on the wiki. Put your name to a workshop or create a workshop that you would like to share and tell about your journey with colleagues ( this is a powerful learning tool). Keep it simple.
2. Soon to be "champions', ie, everyone else. Log onto the wiki and add your name to a work shop on the wiki. Instructions are on the wiki. If you don't know how ask your HT. Do this by COB Thursday 17th.
I will add you into a group if you have not put yourself down. There is little excuse!.

Professional Learning Teams 'New Tools and Old Tools coming together!"

If you want to feel secure, do what
you already know how to do.

If you want to be a true professional
and continue to grow. . . go to the cutting edge of your competence,
which means a temporary loss
of security.

So whenever you don't quite know what you're doing,
know you are growing.

Whole school approach to quality teaching through technology "Teachnology"

Aim; To inform, to excite and to question your position on Quality teaching.

The Big questions....

technology is flakey!.....We as teachers don't want to risk our students on technology...because in our experience it is unreliable.. never does what it is supposed to do... its a risk!!! HOWEVER......

....if we don't... are we RISKING ENGAGEMENT!

ARE.... we ready to turn over the learning to students?

Lets look at joe's notebook.

Have you seen these? What are they? What do they represent? What do they do?

Picture_4.pngPicture_9.pngPicture_3.pngPicture_5.pngPicture_6.pngPicture_10.pngPicture_11.pngPicture_12.pngPicture_13.png

We as teachers are organised.. and like control... how will we survive....the online environment is MESSY, disorganised and Manic!

PERSONAL LEARNING NETWORKS PLN s to those in the know....

RSS......putting some order into the ANARCHY...watch this vid!

RSS Feeds YEH!Peakk into my journey!!! over the last two weeks!! It is a must we develop a culture of SHARING!
Think learning communities, social networking ...one quote this week....
